Episode 11: 20th Century Earthaphile (Bounty)

Would we be considered 21st Century Earthaphiles?

This is a pretty controversial episode, so let me brace you our controversial opinion now: leopard skin is the new leather. Wait. Hang on. Let me think about that one for a second, I’m not entirely certain that actually makes sense. It’s Bounty, written by Terry Nation and aired on March 13, 1978.

Episode 1: Really Well Planned Rebellion (The Way Back)

Every rebellion needs a plan that will immediately fall apart.

It’s the start of a brand new era in podcasting, and a brand new era in television.  It all started with “hey we should do Blake’s 7” and look here we are. Episode 1. Unsurprisingly it seems impossible to talk about Blake’s 7 without mentioning Doctor Who. Well, at least we started. It’s The Way Back, written by Terry Nation, and aired on January 2, 1978.

64: This is Becoming a Podcast of Moral Ambiguity (The Curse of Peladon)

Ambiguity is one of the best/worst/neutral things.

In this episode, for the first time in quite a long, long while, Kiyan and Dylan end an episode disagreeing on something. Well actually multiple things over the episode. This, of course, is a product of multiple heated debates over the course of the episode, which should be hopefully enjoyable. Is Jo the worst character in the serial? Or Peladon? That’s for the dear listener to decide. The subject of these debates was The Curse of Peladon, written by Brian Hayles, and aired in January and February of 1972.
