Episode 14: Blake’s on a Plane (Redemption)

I’m tired of this monday to… wait I’ve used this before.

This week we move from Series A into Series B, which means we’re past a quarter way now. This are going to get pretty different around here, we’ve finally gotta Terry Nation out of the writer’s chair, just not yet. No, first we have to wipe out all possibility of backstory for the Liberator. It’s Redemption, written by Terry Nation and aired on January 9, 1979.

Episode 7: Agatha Christie in Space (Mission to Destiny)

I think I might have used this as a title before…

I think Terry Nation is out of ideas. Just flat out, like, I’m sure he just kind of read the back of his orange juice in the morning and tore the label off to give to Chris Boucher. It’s Mission to Destiny, written by Terry Nation, and aired on February 13, 1978.

13:18 Children of the Stones has Gareth Thomas playing a geologist who moves to a rural village when weird things start happening. It;s pretty good and only 7 episodes, so just watch it. Try this version edited together into a 2 and half hour movie, cause the original series feels like a chopped up movie anyway.

34:08 Fresh Off the Boat is an example of a garbage American sitcom. Surprisingly based off of a book.

Episode 3: Disintegrated by Technobabble (Cygnus Alpha)

Now we see the true danger of technobabble.

We’re continuing along our journey, although perhaps The Doctor has buggered with the show a bit, both our show and Blake’s 7 itself. It appears we have a bit of a timeline discontinuity that somebody didn’t notice in the production room. It’s Cygnus Alpha, written by Terry Nation and aired on January 16, 1978.
