67: Matador for the Minotaur (The Time Monster)

Interesting that dor and taur sound similar but are spelled differently.

This week Kiyan and Dylan work towards a new more witty episode…. No totally kidding, they just watched a witty serial. Said witty serial happened to be The Time Monster, written by Robert Sloman (with uncredited additions by Barry Letts), which aired in May and June of 1972.

65: Hard Work and Motivation are Never a Good Thing (The Sea Devils)

Seriously, this show has no hard work ever, making it a good idea!

This week Kiyan and Dylan finally succeed in integrating all their discussions into the summary of the serial, rather than just shoving it to the end, as usual. Thank goodness for Malcolm Hulke, his amazing penmanship skills, and his serial, The Sea Devils, which aired between the 26th of February and the 1st of April, 1972.

64: This is Becoming a Podcast of Moral Ambiguity (The Curse of Peladon)

Ambiguity is one of the best/worst/neutral things.

In this episode, for the first time in quite a long, long while, Kiyan and Dylan end an episode disagreeing on something. Well actually multiple things over the episode. This, of course, is a product of multiple heated debates over the course of the episode, which should be hopefully enjoyable. Is Jo the worst character in the serial? Or Peladon? That’s for the dear listener to decide. The subject of these debates was The Curse of Peladon, written by Brian Hayles, and aired in January and February of 1972.

63: Dropping Some Dope Morality (Day of the Daleks)

Dope: adjective, informal: very good.

This week Kiyan and Dylan explain the triumphant return and subsequent loss of the Daleks. They tried to exterminate any tangents before they got too big, but some of them were too powerful. Day of the Daleks aired in January of 1972 and was written by Louis Marks.
