UFO 10 – The Square Triangle

Our audio tracks somehow got slightly misaligned in this episode, so the conversation is a little off. Sorry.

I never realized triangles could be squares you know?

In the future, I think we should aim to reduce the number of sides in a polygon, rather than increasing. So that would be the triangle would go to… the biangle? Which is possible, just not in flat space. If you have a positively curved space time you can have a polygon of two sides that intersect into two angles. If you continue down this line of thinking…[introduction truncated for brevity]. it’s The Square Triangle, written by Alan Patillo and aired on December 9, 1970.

Show-notes:
3:40: I proceeded to explain this in the worst way possible. But anyway, go checkout the trailer for Legend of the Sea Devils, I guess. And then check out Trust Your Doctor: A Doctor Who Podcast, our Doctor Who podcast.
4:33: I’ll save you all some time and just link you the Blue Box Podcast episode. I won’t tell you what we covered though, that’s for you to find out. (Editor’s note: It’s because you didn’t bother scrubbing through to find out, isn’t it?)
11:58: Do I need to tell you who Avi Arad, Amy Pascal and Kathleen Kennedy are?
15:11: Alien 3 had some golden dialogue, as proven by this scene.
16:00: It’s 3 in the morning and I’m not reading this shit. But yes, manslaughter exists across the pond.
24:40: Here you are, Firearms regulation in the United Kingdom. Basically they spent like a 100 years putting into placemore and more restrictions.
33:36: Luckily for us the podcast isn’t in danger of a hostile takeover. (Editor’s note: yet.)
37:10: Zenith: A Blake’s 7 Podcast is our Blake’s 7 podcast.
