Episode 9: The New Mutoids (Project Avalon)

And that’s how we got the newest hit superhero movie.

Why would anyone in their right mind name their secret government project after the person who is absolutely key to the project working? It’s supposed to be a secret project. Maybe I’m reading too deep into this. It’s Project Avalon, written by Terry Nation, and aired on February 27, 2018.

Episode 8: Pride and Prejudice and Blake’s 7 (Duel)

This episode is pretty beloved. Not this episode of Blake’s 7, this episode of Zenith. It’s basically all down hill from here is what I’m saying. It’s Duel, written by Terry Nation and aired on February 20, 1978.

Episode 7: Agatha Christie in Space (Mission to Destiny)

I think I might have used this as a title before…

I think Terry Nation is out of ideas. Just flat out, like, I’m sure he just kind of read the back of his orange juice in the morning and tore the label off to give to Chris Boucher. It’s Mission to Destiny, written by Terry Nation, and aired on February 13, 1978.

Try this version edited together into a 2 and half hour movie, cause the original series feels like a chopped up movie anyway.

We’ve caught up to Kiyan’s prescreening of Blake’s 7. Basically he watched up to this point before we even started the show, because… well… actually I don’t really know. Why not? It’s Seek, Locate, Destroy, written by Terry Nation and aired on February 6, 1978.

Episode 5: I Don’t Want to Know Anything (The Web)

That’s the truth really, just take all my knowledge away thanks.

We’ve returned to Blake’s 7 again because I think this is actually a thing we’re doing. Basically no going back now, Episode 5 is the point of no return. Before then you can just bail but now we can’t go back. No choice. It’s The Web, written by Terry Nation and aired on January 30, 1978.

Unsurprisingly it seems impossible to talk about Blake’s 7 without mentioning Doctor Who. Well, at least we started. It’s The Way Back, written by Terry Nation, and aired on January 2, 1978.

This week Kiyan and Dylan explore one of the juggernauts of classic Doctor Who (See what I did there? The Juggernauts is an audio drama featuring Davros, the Daleks, and the Mechonoids [from The Chase]). If the previous sentence didn’t give it away, this week the topic at hand is Genesis of the Daleks, which was written by Terry Nation and aired in March and April in 1975. It famously introduces the character of Davros, creator of the Daleks.
