UFO 3 – The Cat With Ten Lives

Today’s not-title title: “The Huskies of the Cat World”.

I have an aunt who has a Husky, actually. She’s really cute. The dog. Although, to be fair I guess, I’ve never actually met the dog since she got it after the last time we visited the country. The dog could be a ferocious killer for all I know. It’s The Cat With Ten Lives, written by David Tomblin and aired on September 30, 1970.

Show-notes:
1:05:
Sorry Nathan. The podcast we’re referring to here is Flight Through Entirety.
1:57: I’m pretty much just reading off David Tomblin’s Wikipedia page.
5:10: For more on Torchwood, you could watch Torchwood. Or you could do the smart thing and check out our coverage of Torchwood on Trust Your Doctor: A Doctor Who Podcast, our Doctor Who podcast.
17:20: Living in Harmony and Fall Out, two great Prisoner episodes. Interestingly, Living in Harmony was cowritten by David Tomblin.
19:50: Here’s a deep cut to Tintin, Thomson and Thompson.
20:38: Courage the Cowardly Dog was a TV show. (Editor’s note: kind of underselling it but fine.)
25:49: Crying of Lot 49 is by Thomas Pynchon. If it’s anything like the last Pynchon book I started, it’s impossible to comprehend sober.
26:15: The Postal Investigative Service has their own website.
31:38: Apparently The Spruce Eats has a sister site named The Spruce Pets. Here’s a page about Siamese cats, or something.
32:23: Read these random facts about Sphynx cats over on Wikipedia.
48:13: Have you ever heard the tragedy of Darth Plagueis The Wise?
55:41: Cats was a travesty of a movie released in 2019.
